Days | Part-Time How you'll make an impact in this role: Perform specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-resolution diagnostic images that enable radiologists and physicians to make accurate, timely diagnoses. Operate and maintain advanced gamma cameras and detection equipment to safely map radiopharmaceuticals and ensure optimal imaging results for every patient. Guide and position patients with care , selecting precise anatomical and technical settings to maximize image quality while minimizing discomfort. Manage radiopharmaceuticals end-to-end by ordering, preparing, administering, and disposing of doses in strict accordance with clinical protocols. Uphold rigorous radiation safety standards to protect patients, team members, and yourself throughout every diagnostic and therapeutic process. What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited education program in Nuclear Medicine Technology required by date of hire.
Work Experience:
