Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) We are a Surgery Center and operate one day a week on about 15 patients. We mainly do cataract patients with monitored anesthesia. Rarely general or LMA. No retrobulbar injections. Topical and monitored anesthesia. Since we are a surgery center and not a hospital. Hospitals can charge insurance companies for each procedure a CRNA performs but an Surgery Center is not allowed to do that. So the CRNA will be responsible for billing their patients. They usually have their own billing agency that does their billing. and financially it has worked out better for them. If you don"t have your own billing agency we will help you acquire one. We offer excellent incentives per surgery day. Please call and ask about them we believe you will be very please with them. (870 772-4440. Duties Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures, ensuring optimal pain management and safety. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology evaluation, and medical history review, to develop individualized anesthesia plans. Monitor patients continuously during procedures. Manage airway techniques and ventilation strategies to maintain airway patency and ensure adequate oxygenation throughout procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams and nursing staff to coordinate care and respond swiftly to any changes in patient condition. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and medical documentation. Administer medications and injections safely, following NCQA standards for quality and safety. Skills Proven critical care experience in ICU or hospital settings with a strong foundation in anesthesiology principles. Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to anesthesia practice. Skilled in airway management techniques and patient assessment for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Proficient in using Epic EMR systems along with other EHR platforms for accurate documentation and medical record keeping. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to monitor vital signs continuously and respond promptly to emergencies. Familiarity with hospital protocols, NCQA standards, pain management strategies, and medication administration procedures.
