Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, commencing Oct 12, 2026. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services for diverse cases, including general surgery, OB/GYN, GI, and orthopedics. The schedule consists of weekday shifts from 7am to 3pm, supplemented by a 4-week rotating weekend requirement and a structured on-call schedule, primarily within two main operating rooms. Responsibilities and Duties Administer anesthesia for a variety of cases, including general surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, gastrointestinal procedures, and orthopedics. Manage cases within 2 main operating rooms, with occasional involvement in Cath Lab procedures. Refrain from performing cardiac or neurosurgical cases. Adhere to a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Fulfill a 4-week rotating weekend requirement. Participate in an on-call schedule that includes float weeks and taking call, with off-site beeper call for weekdays (3:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and 24-hour coverage on weekends/holidays. Commit to a minimum of 10-20 shifts per month.

Inpatient facility with 2 main operating rooms.
Call Schedule:
Off-site beeper call; weekdays 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends/holidays 24 hours. Callback is hourly if the provider is called in. Call structure includes 2 weeks without call, followed by a 3rd week as float, and taking call.
