Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in our AAAASF-accredited ambulatory surgery center in Sherman Oaks, California. This position primarily supports Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) sedation for outpatient procedures. The CRNA will collaborate closely with the operating surgeon, nursing staff, and clinical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience. Pay Rate $200-$250 per hour , depending on experience and credentials 4 hours minimum daily guarantee Job Requirements Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license Current California CRNA furnishing/advanced practice certification , as applicable Current NBCRNA certification Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Minimum of 2 years of independent CRNA experience in an ambulatory surgery center or outpatient surgical setting preferred Experience administering Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) sedation required Strong knowledge of outpatient anesthesia protocols and patient safety standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required Experience administering anesthesia for dermatology, ophthalmology, and vascular specialties is preferred Duties Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols and patient-specific needs. Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments, including evaluating medical history, physiology, and anatomy to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Monitor vital signs, oxygenation levels, and other patient parameters throughout procedures to ensure stability and safety. Respond promptly to cardiovascular emergencies such as cardiac arrest or airway compromise by implementing advanced resuscitation techniques. Manage airway devices and advanced airway techniques to maintain patent airways during anesthesia administration. Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia care plans that align with perioperative care standards and patient safety measures. Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and hospital policies related to medical documentation and nursing procedures. Operate medical equipment including ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring systems while adhering to NCQA standards for quality care delivery.
