Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Locum Anesthesiologist to provide vacation coverage at a Florida healthcare facility. In this role, you will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients, including pre-op evaluations, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia recovery. You'll collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and administrators to ensure excellent patient outcomes and smooth OR throughput. Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and develop anesthesia plans Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetic levels intraoperatively Manage post-anesthesia recovery and address pain and complications Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation Adhere to facility policies, quality standards, and patient safety protocols Participate in handoffs and care coordination across perioperative settings Required Skills General anesthesia administration Regional and neuraxial anesthesia Pre-operative evaluation and risk assessment Intraoperative monitoring and hemodynamic management Airway management and advanced airway techniques Post-anesthesia care and pain management Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation ACLS and BLS clinical skills Patient safety and quality protocols Interdisciplinary team collaboration
