Florida Medical Pain Management - Tampa Bay Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our ASC in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our patients through a multidisciplinary approach as an interventional treatment center while adhering to policies and procedures from AAAHC, AHCA, AORN, etc. We offer a multitude of minimally invasive procedures including... Medial Branch Blocks Facet Joint Injections Radiofrequency Ablations Epidural Steroid Injections Sacroiliac Joint Injections Sympathetic Blocks Intradiscal Injections Spinal Cord Stimulators Most procedures last anywhere from 15-30 minutes with the exception of our spinal cord stimulators which range from 60-90 minutes. Patient load is approximately 15-30 patients from Mon-Wed with Thursdays designated for larger cases i.e. spinal cord stimulators which may look like 4-8 patients on the schedule. Currently, no procedures on Fridays.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

Administers intravenous anesthesia (MAC) to patients (no general anesthesia) Manages the patient's status before, during, and after procedures Prepares the OR with necessary supplies and equipment including emergency items Legibly records findings in the patient records Promotes patient safety by creating a safe clinical environment Ensures clinical equipment remains in operating condition and is sufficiently stocked Performs other incidental duties assigned by the Medical Director Maintains knowledge of current research, policies, and procedures
