An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Carbondale, Illinois. This role offers full-time coverage within a teaching hospital environment and a Level II trauma center setting, with exposure to a broad range of cases including OB, general surgery, trauma, and additional surgical specialties. Teaching hospital with Level II trauma center experience and a collaborative anesthesia departmentCases:
OB, general surgery, trauma, and additional surgical specialties Job Requirements Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification Active Illinois CRNA license or eligibility to obtain licensure Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required Experience in a hospital-based anesthesia setting preferred Comfort working within a medical direction or care team model Strong clinical skills across a variety of anesthesia cases Excellent communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for patients across a variety of surgical services Manage cases including OB, general surgery, trauma, and other specialty procedures Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams Support safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility standards to join this CRNA locum tenens opportunity in Carbondale, Illinois and contribute to a high-performing anesthesia team.
