Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) for a locum/travel contract opportunity in Fort Wayne, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs, Nurse Anesthetists, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists looking to work in a dynamic, full-service surgical environment alongside a dedicated OR team across a diverse and engaging caseload. CRNA Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for a broad range of cases including endoscopy, obstetrics, general surgery, and orthopedics Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans Monitor and manage patient vitals, anesthetic depth, and hemodynamic stability throughout procedures Oversee patient emergence from anesthesia and coordinate safe post-operative handoff Collaborate closely with surgeons, OB teams, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure efficient case flow Accurately document all anesthetic care in the patient record CRNA Requirements Current CRNA certification through the NBCRNA Active Indiana RN and APRN licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (MSN or DNAP) BLS and ACLS certification required Experience across multiple surgical specialties preferred (OB, ortho, general, endo) Strong clinical judgment with ability to adapt across a varied daily caseload Schedule Locum/Travel | 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts No call. No weekends.
