This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality anesthesia care in a dynamic medical practice environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will play an essential role in administering anesthesia, monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures, and ensuring safe, effective perioperative care. Working alongside anesthesiologists and surgical teams, you will manage a diverse caseload and contribute to the smooth operation of our clinical services. This contract role is ideal for an associate-level professional seeking flexibility, professional growth, and the chance to work in a collaborative healthcare setting. Responsibilities Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical and diagnostic procedures Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed throughout procedures Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Manage airway and ventilation, including intubation and extubation, during all phases of anesthesia care Document anesthesia interventions, patient responses, and post-operative evaluations accurately Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management support in the recovery setting Respond promptly to emergencies and adverse reactions during anesthesia administration Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate inventory of anesthesia supplies and medications, ensuring readiness for procedures Requirements Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program (or equivalent) Current and valid CRNA certification and state licensure in good standing Associate-level experience in administering anesthesia in a clinical or hospital setting Strong proficiency in airway management, invasive monitoring, and anesthesia techniques Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, pharmacology, and emergency response protocols Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with care teams Ability to work flexible, on-site schedules as required by contract assignments Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
