Responsible for fulfilling and sustaining the duties and functions specified by established appointment and promotion criteria, including teaching and service to the school and community. #CB Job Standards and Performance Expectations Mission Alignment Actively engages the Catholic and Franciscan mission and identity of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University by modeling the Franciscan values, honoring the legacy of the founding congregation, promoting justice for the communities we serve, and integrating the Catholic and Franciscan intellectual traditions in programs, courses and services Academic Prepares instruction that reflects stated course student learning outcomes Construct classroom materials that support the goals of the course Prepare thoroughly for each instructional hour; Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner Evaluates student achievement Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance, post grades in a timely manner Teaching Implements curricular and instructional interventions Develops student learning outcomes Utilizes peer review and coaching Applies what has been learned from formative and summative feedback on instruction Advising Reflects on summative students' evaluation of academic advising experience Assesses reports and perceptions of peers and others regarding fidelity to academic advising roles and responsibilities Advises students through feedback, coaching, remediation, and engagement Contribution to role-related knowledge base Presents at local, state, national and/or international professional conferences Ensures the integrity and quality of the Program curriculum through ongoing assessment. Coordinates Program assessment activities, implements assessment driven curriculum revision Administers and organizes the Program in order to ensure general effectiveness of the Program. Directs other Program faculty/staff. Professional Service Engages in professional development activities to promote development in the scholarship of teaching and learning Solicits and participate in funded research (identifying specific role, funding source, and status of each project) Community Service Actively participates in community groups and organizations, as related to the College's mission Institutional Service Participates in committee work at the program, school, or institutional level (delineate roles and nature of participation) Academic Integration Integrates emerging academic technologies into course designs, ensuring they are both pedagogically sound and user-friendly for faculty and students Coordinate and teach clinical education courses and other related course content based on areas of content and clinical expertise Other Duties as Assigned Other duties as assigned or required
