Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 104-day assignment in Maryland, commencing Nov 23, 2026. This full-time role involves providing weekly coverage from 7am to 5pm, ideally across four 10-hour shifts, though three 12-hour or five 8-hour shifts may be considered. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload including general surgery, urology, orthopedics, and OB/GYN, requiring strong epidural skills and familiarity with standard community hospital procedures, excluding cardiac and interventional neuro. Responsibilities and Duties Provide weekly full-time coverage Work shifts from 7am to 5pm, with a preference for four 10-hour days per week Flexibility to consider three 12-hour or five 8-hour shifts per week Manage cases involving general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB, and GYN Demonstrate strong epidural skills Handle a standard bread and butter caseload typical of a smaller community hospital Cases do not include cardiac surgery or interventional neuro procedures Additional Information Board Certification in Anesthesiology required
