Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications:
Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing Graduate from an approved school of nurse anesthesia Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Current Minnesota State Nursing License Current Minnesota State Advanced Practice Nursing License
BLS, ACLS, PALS
required; NRP preferred (PRN CRNAs exempt from NRP)
Job Responsibilities:
Administers anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures Maintains the patient in the desired anesthetic state by adjusting anesthetic as necessary Records the patient's vital signs and watches for significant changes Administers CPR and airway maintenance in areas other than the OR Maintains a safe physical environment for patients and employees Other duties as assigned.
