Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Minimum of 2 weeks per month required with one weekend of call Monday through Friday schedule with weekday call availability Weekend and holiday call required, typically 1 in 4 rotation Weekday shifts run 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend shifts are 24 hours running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes Coverage need for 2 FTE positions Support staff includes 3 to 4 CRNAs on shift, plus 2 pediatric CRNAs on Fridays Typical case volume of 3 to 5 cases per day depending on OR load Patient population is primarily adult and elderly with light pediatrics including dental and laparoscopic cases Practice setting is a rural hospital with 49 beds Department includes 4 core ORs, a dedicated endoscopy room, C-suite, 1 flex room, and a DaVinci robot Procedures required include orthopedic surgery (total joints, neuro spine, sports), general surgery, plastics (cosmetic and reconstruction), podiatry, OB (35 to 50 C-sections annually), ophthalmology (cataracts), and neuraxial anesthesia (spinal, epidural, combined spinal-epidural) CRNA-only model with no MD oversight Active Minnesota license required along with DEA certification Board Certification through NBCRNA required Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Minimum 2 years of experience required Required skills include nerve blocks, OB, general anesthesia, and spinals Pediatrics experience preferred and rural health experience strongly preferred EMR system is
