Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient CRNA coverage under medical direction at a Level 1 High-Acuity Trauma Center. Administer anesthesia across general, GYN, urology, ortho, spines, vascular, heart, lungs, and out-of-OR (OOR) cases for both adult and pediatric populations. Maintain a full-time schedule (flexible mix of 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts; 10-hour shifts preferred) including 24-hour in-house call coverage at a 3-shifts-per-week call ratio. Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation and patient care management.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) comfortable with adult and pediatric patients. Active North Carolina state license or IMLC membership. Active ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Coverage Needed:

12/1/2026 (ASAP - Ongoing).

Shift Structure:

24-Hour In-House Call Only (3 shifts/week call ratio).

Credentialing Time Frame:

60-90 days.

Skills:

Advanced clinical proficiency in high-acuity Level 1 trauma center anesthesia care under medical direction. Expertise across complex subspecialties including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, spine, and pediatric anesthesia. Capability in executing 24-hour in-house call duties within a high-volume inpatient facility. Proficient in Epic EMR system navigation and quality clinical documentation. All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!
