Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) dream job alert in Northeastern North Carolina—step into a high-energy perioperative world where a CRNA can practice at top of license, advance quickly, and love every shift in the OR 🩺.
This healthcare organization invites a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a mission-driven, patient-first culture that consistently earns strong quality scores, impressive safety metrics, and stellar patient experience results; as a CRNA, expect exposure to complex cases, modern anesthesia protocols, and an innovation-forward environment featuring robotics, advanced imaging, AI-assisted decision support, virtual nursing, and real-time quality dashboards that elevate clinical excellence and CRNA practice every day.
In the Surgery Unit, a CRNA will find a collaborative setting with high-acuity surgical services, efficient turnover, optimized workflows, and a streamlined perioperative pathway; the hospital is part of a state-wide health system, is a prominent regional provider, and operates as a 250+ bed facility, giving a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist both the scale and support to thrive while delivering safe, evidence-based anesthesia care across diverse specialties.
Reporting for the CRNA typically flows through a Chief CRNA and an Anesthesiology Medical Director, with daily collaboration alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR nursing, PACU, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy; a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will conduct pre-op assessments, craft individualized anesthetic plans, manage general anesthesia and airways, monitor intraoperative physiology, and ensure smooth post-anesthesia transitions—backed by advanced ultrasound, modern anesthesia workstations, clinical decision support, and a friendly, diverse team of nurses and allied professionals fully committed to CRNA success and patient safety.
Northeastern North Carolina offers a CRNA an enviable lifestyle with quick access to rivers, lakes, and the coast for kayaking. A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist can enjoy a mild four-season climate, affordable cost of living, varied housing from historic districts to new builds with acreage, strong K-12 options and nearby higher education, growing job markets in healthcare, proximity to regional airports, and a welcoming, diverse community that values safety, cleanliness, and future-forward development.
The hospital offers a CRNA highly competitive compensation with potential sign-on incentives, relocation assistance, differentials, certification pay, CME support, and transparent pathways for growth, plus a full suite of health and retirement benefits including comprehensive medical/dental/vision options, and generous PTO.
