An esteemed acute care hospital in Las Vegas is in search of a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to become a valued member of their anesthesia team. This position involves providing anesthesia for various surgical services in a dynamic, high-acuity setting, working closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure top-notch patient care.

Primary Duties:

Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care following established guidelines Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history and risk evaluation Monitor patients continuously during procedures and address any changes in condition promptly Maintain effective communication with anesthesiologists and surgical teams throughout surgeries Perform post-anesthesia evaluations to oversee safe patient recovery Accurately document anesthesia plans, intraoperative events, and post-operative outcomes Engage in quality improvement projects and uphold hospital safety protocols

Requirements:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with completion of a CRNA program Active Nevada license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Current ACLS certification from the

American Heart Association Preferred Skills:

Post-Master's certification from a COA-accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program Experience in pediatric anesthesia is a plus, but not required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment Exceptional clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
