Level I Trauma Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center Position Overview Winston Locums is seeking 8 experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for full-time locum tenens assignments in York and Hanover, Pennsylvania. CRNAs may be considered for one or both locations based on their experience and scheduling preferences. Opportunities are available in a large Level I Trauma hospital and a four-operating-room ambulatory surgery center. Both facilities use Epic and operate under a medically directed anesthesia care model. Hospital Location Case Mix CRNAs will provide anesthesia services across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas, including: Trauma Neurology and spine Cardiac Thoracic Vascular Acute pain services Non-operating-room anesthesia Obstetrics and gynecology General surgery Gastroenterology Pediatrics Plastic surgery Orthopedics Robotic surgery CRNAs do not perform blocks. CRNAs may perform epidurals without a physician present. Required Skills General endotracheal anesthesia Monitored anesthesia care Regional anesthesia Spinal anesthesia Ultrasound-guided techniques Surgery Center Assignment Outpatient ambulatory surgery center Four operating rooms Approximately 6-15 patients per day, depending on room assignment Adult and pediatric patient population Epic electronic medical record Medically directed anesthesia model of 1:3 Significant orthopedic case volume CRNAs work under supervision in the regular operating rooms and practice independently in the endoscopy area. An anesthesiologist is always present in the building and available for support. Case Mix Orthopedics Gynecology Ophthalmology Endoscopy Ear, nose and throat Dental General surgery Requirements Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Active Pennsylvania license, compact eligibility or willingness to obtain the appropriate license Current ACLS certification Current PALS certification Current BLS certification for the Hanover assignment Minimum of two years of CRNA experience Ability to work a full-time weekday schedule Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients Why Consider These Assignments?
