3002574913-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cone Health is seeking a Part Time CRNA to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of clinical settings, collaborating closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff. Responsibilities include pre operative assessments, administering anesthesia, monitoring patients intra operatively, and managing post anesthesia recovery. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including history, physical examination, and risk evaluation Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists and procedural teams Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures Manage airways, ventilation, hemodynamics, and fluid status throughout anesthesia care Continuously monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to anesthesia, and clinical status intraoperatively Provide safe emergence from anesthesia and coordinate handoff to PACU, ICU, or other post-procedural care settings Implement perioperative pain management strategies, including regional blocks and multimodal analgesia where appropriate Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and experience Participate in quality improvement, clinical practice updates, and continuing education activities Contribute to a culture of compassion, respect, diversity, and inclusivity consistent with Cone Health values Required Skills Anesthesia administration (general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care) Pre-anesthesia assessment and risk stratification Airway management, including advanced airway techniques Hemodynamic monitoring and management Regional anesthesia techniques and nerve blocks Perioperative pain management and multimodal analgesia Intraoperative patient monitoring and documentation Management of anesthesia-related emergencies and resuscitation support Knowledge of pharmacology of anesthetic and adjunct medications Interpretation of EKG, blood gases, and relevant lab results Infection prevention and patient safety practices Interdisciplinary communication and teamwork Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Time management and case prioritization Adherence to regulatory, accreditation, and professional practice standards
