Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), a vital role dedicated to delivering safe, effective anesthesia care across diverse medical settings. As a CRNA, you will leverage your advanced nursing expertise and specialized training to administer anesthesia, monitor patient vital signs, and ensure optimal outcomes throughout surgical procedures. Duties Assess patients pre-operatively to determine anesthesia needs, considering medical history, physiology knowledge, and current health status Administer anesthesia using advanced techniques tailored to individual patient requirements, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures Monitor vital signs continuously with EMR/EHR systems and adjust anesthesia levels as needed for optimal patient stability Manage emergency care situations swiftly and effectively, including airway management, first aid, and CPR when necessary Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams to develop comprehensive anesthesia plans aligned with health regulation policies and disease prevention protocols Document all medical procedures accurately within medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Provide post-anesthesia care by evaluating patient recovery progress, managing pain control, and addressing any adverse reactions or complications Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the practicing state; certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) required Proven experience in acute care settings with proficiency in emergency care, triage, and chronic disease management Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical software applications including EMR/EHR systems Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while adhering to HIPAA standards Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and CPR; additional certifications in first aid are highly desirable Familiarity with health regulation policies and procedures related to anesthesia practice and patient safety standards Excellent communication skills coupled with nursing leadership experience to guide team efforts effectively Embark on a rewarding journey where your expertise transforms patient experiences through compassionate care and technical excellence. $140.00 - $150.00 per hour
