Job Description

Essential Anesthesia Management looking for an Anesthesiologist to join the team at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Position Highlights:
$550,000 (1099) + 9 weeks off a year Schedule is 7a-3p Monday - Friday; about 10 weekend call shifts per year
Anesthesia Team :
Our team is a collaborative group of 3 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs.
Weekend Call :
MDs take primary OR call and backup OB call. 1 MD and 1 CRNA are on call for OR on weekends. Additional CRNA from 7a-3p on Saturdays to assist with cases. On average, 6 rooms covered per day with 6 CRNAS, 2 MDs and a float CRNA (floats between the OR or OB).
Case types:
include general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neuro, and pain management. OB is primarily covered in-house by a dedicated team of CRNAs that rotate on 24-hour shifts. Most of the anesthetics at Westover Hills are on adult patients. No trauma, transplant, or CV coverage required. This is the last spot to make our team complete!
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified Proficiency in regional blocks and peripheral nerve blocks.
