Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist or CRNA to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in anesthesia, critical care, and pain management, with a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort. As an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical procedures, managing perioperative patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes across various clinical settings. Duties Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs throughout surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. Conduct preoperative assessments to evaluate patient health status and determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Manage airway control and ventilation support using advanced airway management techniques and ventilator systems. Provide acute pain management, including epidural, nerve blocks, and botulinum toxin treatments when indicated. Collaborate with surgical teams during procedures such as cardiac catheterization, catheterization, and radiologic interventions. Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Participate in clinical research studies related to anesthesia techniques or pain management innovations. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures. Support hospital operations by triaging emergency cases in Level I and Level II trauma centers or urgent care settings. Engage in ongoing professional development through training in new anesthetic agents, medical imaging modalities, or telehealth platforms. Experience Proven experience in anesthesiology within hospital environments, including ICU and emergency medicine settings. Critical care experience with proficiency in ventilator management, dialysis procedures, and acute care protocols. Familiarity with advanced cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization and catheterization techniques. Experience with pain management procedures including dermal fillers, dermabrasion, spinal taps, and injection administration. Knowledge of medical coding systems such as
CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10
for accurate documentation and billing purposes. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments in diverse clinical contexts. Prior involvement in clinical trials or research projects related to anesthesiology or pain medicine preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and pharmacology relevant to anesthesia practice. Experience working within hospital medicine units or outpatient clinics that utilize EMR systems like Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.
