Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Under generalsupervision, monitor students, staff, visitors and vehicles on the campus.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
High School diploma or GED
Experience:
None
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work effectively with students
Ability to record information
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively

Posture:
Prolonged sitting; frequent standing/bending/pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion:
Continuous walking and standing

Regular light lifting and carrying moderate weight
Environment:
May work prolonged or irregular hours; be exposed to vehicle exhaust; work outside and be exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather; be subject to extreme physical acts of others (i.e., restraining students involved in altercations)

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Student Management
1. Monitor student behavior across the campus and enforce school rules related to student conduct, vehicle operation, and parking.
2. Resolve conflict or confrontation between students and report disturbances to principal or assistant principal.
Parking
3. Help control traffic and parking on campus grounds.
4. Register student vehicles and maintain accurate records of registration.
5. Work cooperatively with campus office personnel to inform students of problems with vehicles (i.e., improperly parked, lights on, etc.
Monitoring
6. Notify campus administration and/or campus SRO of any situation requiring immediate attention.
7. Give directions or act as a guide to authorized visitors.
8. Maintain confidentiality regarding all campus matters.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
