Locums About the Facility This mid-sized hospital maintains an organized operating room program supporting a broad range of surgical specialties within an established perioperative environment. The facility operates under a physician supervision model and seeks locum tenens CRNA coverage to address current staffing vacancies within the Anesthesia Department. The clinical setting supports a diverse surgical case mix across inpatient services. About the Facility Location From kayaking to camping, hiking to biking, ziplining to rock climbing, and garden tours to birdwatching, northern Virginia has it all! About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at an operating room facility in Virginia, with schedules structured across 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts to comprise a 40-hour work week. The surgical case mix includes General, ENT, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Urology, OB/GYN, Cardiac, and Basic Pediatric procedures, with OB epidural placement required for all locum tenens clinicians in this role. The facility manages approximately 650 cases per month. Weeknight and weekend call coverage is required at a 1:8 call ratio, and board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this assignment.
