As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia and providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs. You'll collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management, contributing significantly to the quality of patient outcomes and the overall success of our practice. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures Provide post-anesthesia care and assess recovery Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals Adhere to safety protocols and standards within the practice Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Requirements Associate's degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications Attention to detail and strong clinical judgment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work collaboratively within a team environment Availability to work flexible hours as required Prior experience as a CRNA is preferred but not mandatory
Schedule:
8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Weeknight and weekend call Shifts available at multiple hospitals
Skillsets Required:
Spinal, regional, epidural, OB, neurosurgical spine, complex vascular (except open heart), complex orthopedics, vent management, central and arterial line insertion Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
