Join a busy Level I Trauma Center in Richmond as a Locums CRNA and bring your skills to a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment. This role suits a provider who's comfortable managing emergent cases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adapting to a flexible shift schedule. What you'll do: Deliver anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical procedures, including trauma and emergency cases Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other team members to coordinate care Follow clinical protocols, prioritize patient safety, and keep accurate, timely documentation Shift & setting: Hospital-based, inpatient anesthesia services at a high-volume Level I Trauma Center Flexible scheduling with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available What we're looking for: Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and CRNA certified Active Virginia CRNA license or the ability to obtain one Current ACLS and BLS certifications Experience in trauma or other high-acuity settings is preferred Willingness to work varied shift lengths and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment If you thrive in fast-moving teams and want to make an impact caring for critical patients in Richmond, we'd love to hear from you.
