Job Description

Overview The Orthopaedic Center, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner for DOC Orthopaedics and Sports medicine, an affiliate of HH-TOC. They will work directly with one of DOC's established, board-certified orthopedic Physicians. Candidate must be licensed to practice in Alabama.
Primary duties include:
Surgical First Assist, rounding, office/clinical patient evaluations and education, give therapeutic injections, refer to diagnostic treatment/tests, evaluate x-ray, CT, and MRI, review lab results, casting and splinting, write scripts, and dictation.

HS/GED License:
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with
First Assist Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must be
CRNP/FNP
certified Three years previous orthopaedic experience required Highly self-motivated and driven with a strong work ethic Able to work independently Confident in making clinical decisions and managing patient care Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with the orthopedic surgeon and healthcare team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities Experience or interest in sports medicine and orthopaedics is a plus but not mandatory Desire for continued learning Compassionate and patient-centered with good interpersonal skills About Us At The Orthopaedic Center , we are proud to be the region's leading orthopaedic group, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
