POSITION SUMMARY
In collaboration with physician(s), demonstrates and provides professional nursing care to specialty patients requiring an advanced level of knowledge and management of their nursing care.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of post master's certificate program for nurse practitioner Minimum Experience 1 year of clinical experience and expertise in womens health nursing Required Registration/License/Certification National certification as a Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Alabama BLS within 90 days of hire ACLS within 1 year of hire AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 90 days of hire Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience At least 3 years of advance practice experience in acute care Obstetrics as an NP 5 years RN experience in Labor and Delivery Preferred Registration/License/Certification EFM- electronic fetal monitoring certification Other Requirements N/A
