Overview We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Provider, either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to join our dynamic team in a busy outpatient setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive primary care services in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and a broad scope of practice to improve patient outcomes across diverse populations. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a full-service outpatient clinic. Perform assessments, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning Manage acute and chronic medical conditions; prescribe medications and monitor response. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic results. Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management. Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, behavioral health, and our hospitalist team. Educate patients and families on prevention, medication management, and chronic care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic medical record, Athenahealth. Participate in telehealth consultations and outreach programs to expand access to quality healthcare services. Requirements Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current, unrestricted Arkansas APRN or PA license (or license-eligible). DEA registration and prescriptive authority. Family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care experience preferred. New graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building with patients and families. Works well independently while staying connected to a collaborative care team. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
