In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform advanced clinical assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients across all age groups. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through proactive health management, health education, and collaborative care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations, including DEA guidelines. Manage acute and chronic conditions. Utilize electronic health record for accurate medical documentation and patient records management. Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the provider's education, certification, licensure, and scope of practice. Perform new-patient evaluations, annual physicals, preventive examinations, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, follow-up visits, and acute/sick visits. Order, perform, and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging. Initiate and manage referrals to specialists and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Demonstrated experience working in primary care settings with proficiency in medical office operations and EMR/EHR systems. Strong clinical skills including physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, and patient assessment. Experience working with diverse populations. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis coding systems such as ICD-10/ICD-9 and CPT coding for billing purposes. Excellent client communication skills.
