A Center for Health and Healing | Northwest Arkansas Day by Day is seeking a thoughtful, collaborative psychiatric medication provider who wants to practice differently. We are an established, integrative outpatient mental health center serving children, adolescents, and adults across Northwest Arkansas. Our team believes medication management works best when it is connected to the whole person not separated from therapy, relationships, physical health, lived experience, and the other factors affecting someone's well-being. We are looking for a provider who values clinical depth, careful assessment, and genuine collaboration with therapists and other members of a client's care team. What We Are Looking For The right provider will: Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management Take time to understand each client's history, symptoms, needs, and goals Communicate and collaborate with therapists and other providers Practice with warmth, curiosity, humility, and sound clinical judgment Respect the complexity of mental health concerns rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach Create an affirming and welcoming environment for clients of all backgrounds and identities Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation Follow all professional, ethical, licensing, and prescribing requirements Qualifications Applicants must be licensed in Arkansas as a psychiatric prescribing provider.
We welcome applications from:
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) Psychiatrists (MD or DO) Other appropriately licensed psychiatric prescribers Experience working with children or adolescents is valuable but not required. The population served can be shaped around the provider's training, experience, and preferred scope of practice. What Day by Day Provides An established outpatient mental health practice A steady referral network and administrative support Scheduling, intake, billing, and credentialing assistance Opportunities for meaningful collaboration with experienced therapists A supportive and inclusive professional environment In-person office space in Northwest Arkansas The opportunity to help develop medication-management services within an integrative mental health practice The Opportunity This is an opportunity to help build a medication-management program grounded in careful listening, clinical integrity, and collaborative care. We are open to discussing full-time, part-time, employee, or contractor arrangements depending on the provider and the needs of the practice.
