Job Description
Job Overview Peak Dermatology is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing physician-owned practice in Surprise, Arizona . The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical dermatology conditions, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and is committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based care. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical dermatology conditions in patients of all ages. Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings. Diagnose and manage acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, skin infections, and other dermatologic conditions. Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, shave removals, and excisions within scope of practice. Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on treatment options and preventive skin care. Prescribe medications and biologic therapies as appropriate. Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMA/Modernizing Medicine). Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, quality, and patient satisfaction. Qualifications Required Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain) National certification DEA registration (or ability to obtain) Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience Experience performing skin biopsies and common dermatologic procedures Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team Preferred Experience with biologic therapies Surgical dermatology experience Cosmetic dermatology experience (Botox, fillers, lasers) is a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits Annual salary of $90,000•120,000 Productivity bonus Paid Time Off Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) CME allowance Paid licensing and DEA renewal Supportive physician-led practice with opportunities for professional growth Schedule Monday-Friday Day shift No weekends
