We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a busy and well-established cardiology practice in Yuma, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider looking for a strong work environment, competitive compensation, and a consistent four-day workweek with no call coverage. Cardiology experience or prior exposure to cardiac care is preferred, but qualified candidates with strong clinical experience are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care in a busy cardiology practice. Evaluate patients, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations. Develop and manage appropriate treatment plans under the practice's clinical protocols. Assist with the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and laboratory studies. Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, medications, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional clinical environment.Requirements:
Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license eligible to practice in Arizona. Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program. Current national certification appropriate to the provider's discipline. Cardiology experience or exposure is preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and the clinical team.Compensation & Benefits:
4-day workweek: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts. No call coverage. Signing bonus. Relocation assistance. Medical, dental, and vision: $400 monthly stipend with proof of coverage, eligible after 90-day probationary period. 401(k) eligibility after completion of the first year.PTO:
2 weeks during years 1 and 2; 3 weeks after completing 2 years (may vary by contract).Sick leave:
40 hours annually.Paid holidays:
5 observed holidays.CME:
