Job Description

Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatments, including injections
- Provide health coaching and education to patients on preventive care and lifestyle modifications
- Ability to perform basic procedure, including splinting and suturing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide care for patients across the lifespan, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or physician Assistant license in California
- Experience in urgent care settings preferred
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
