Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team on an as needed basis to provide coverage at our clinics in Chico, Colusa and Redding. The clinics' operation days and hours vary and are below:

Monday

  • Each clinic is closed for a one hour lunch break beginning at 1:00 pm.

Elite Provider:
Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions. Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as needed regarding patient care. Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes. Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day (approximately 6 to 12 patients daily). Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines. Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks. Must have an active California Nurse Practitioner License and be Board Certified. Must have or be able to obtain an active Furnishing License and DEA registration within 120 days of hire. Must have or be able to obtain BLS Certification within 10 days of hire. Must be or become proficient in utilizing medical equipment and technology relevant to the role (e.g., DME, EMR (eClinicalWorks), etc.).
