CHILD PMHNP
(Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) Needed in Child Outpatient Clinic in Chula Vista, San Diego County, CA You will not find another organization like Traditions Behavioral Health. We are on a mission to improve access to psychiatric care for adults and children coping with serious and persistent mental illness. We accomplish our mission by partnering with institutional and community-based behavioral health programs throughout the United States. Founded in 1996 in California, TBH has a strong bond with our medical staff and enjoys a national reputation for being psychiatrist centric. We also believe in the power of community and providing a concierge level of service to our facility partners, psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners. Due to rapid growth in California we are seeking Mental Health NPs for our openings in San Diego, CA, preferring an experienced bilingual candidate although not required. This program provides intensive, community-based case management services for homeless adults throughout San Diego County. We deliver fully-integrated services to clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance disorders.
THE DETAILS
Child Services at Nueva Vista 40 hours of coverage per week Caseload is roughly 300 - 90 minute for initials, 45 minutes for follow up EMR - Smartcare Dedicated front office staff, translators, and clinicians supporting Psychiatrists to focus on medical management and providing good patient care

REQUIREMENTS
The Nurse Practitioner will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. MINIMUM• of 1 year prior child PMHNP-specific experience. Unfortunately, we cannot entertain new graduates at this time• Must be organized, detail oriented, self motivated and a self starter. Must be a graduate of an accredited Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. Current PMHNP license and certification to practice as an advanced practice nurse in CA with a focus in Psychiatry.
