Pay Rate:
100-110/hr
Responsibilities :
Manage cases involving work-related injuries and illnesses to facilitate timely care coordination and effective return-to-work outcomes. Provide guidance and support regarding workplace restrictions and functional limitations. Conduct initial telephone or virtual triage for workplace incidents, applying evidence-based protocols and clinical judgment to identify the appropriate level of care, including self-care, clinic referral, or urgent care. Complete medical surveillance activities and fitness-for-duty evaluations in accordance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with the clinic manager and Occupational Health Medical Director when necessary. Provide clinical care for occupational injuries and illnesses, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical assessments, developing treatment plans, administering vaccines and other required testing (such as vision screenings), communicating results and follow-up recommendations, and coordinating referrals to specialty providers in consultation with the Medical Director. Use electronic health records (EHR) and occupational health software systems to document patient encounters, maintain medical documentation, and produce reports for compliance monitoring and program assessment. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to assist with workplace incident investigations and efforts to identify and reduce occupational health risks. Evaluate work-relatedness and causation of workplace incidents while ensuring adherence to federal and state OSHA recordkeeping requirements. Required RN license in CA, NP preferred BLS/CPR certificate is required. Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC) is required within 6 months of hire. (COHN-S) preferred. Master's degree in Public Health preferred. Case Management certification preferred. NIOSH-approved Spirometry certification preferred. At least 3 years of experience with injury case management in a clinical occupational health setting. 2+ years of Workers Comp experience Apply today!
