Position Summary We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners who are confident, efficient, and grounded in evidence-based medicine. This role blends primary care and urgent care, offering variety in clinical presentations while allowing you to practice with autonomy and strong physician collaboration. The ideal candidate is clinically sharp, communicates clearly, and practices with intention—understanding the real-world impact of medical decisions on patients. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive primary care and urgent care services to patients of all ages Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions Perform focused and comprehensive physical exams Order and interpret labs and imaging appropriately and efficiently Prescribe medications thoughtfully with an emphasis on patient education and safety Develop individualized, practical care plans Educate patients on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver streamlined, high-quality care Maintain accurate and timely documentation What We're Looking For Active Family Nurse Practitioner license (California) Current DEA registration MUST have 1+ year experience in family practice, primary care, or urgent care preferred Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Ability to practice efficient, evidence-based, and conservative medicine when appropriate Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach Comfortable balancing quality care with resource stewardship Why Join Access Medical Centers Established, supportive clinical environment Mix of primary care + urgent care for variety and skill growth Collaborative team with experienced providers Stable, well-run practice with strong patient base Flexible scheduling options Our Philosophy We believe excellent medicine is defined by clarity of thought, strong clinical judgment, and doing what's right for each patient.
