ROLE:

Seeking a

PMHNP-BC

for full or part time roles to join a well run, non-profit outpatient clinic serving a severe and mentally ill population (SMI). Experience a high level of nurse support for each of your visits, as well as a high level of wrap around staffing, which together maximize successful treatment and a safe workplace. Participate in a weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to help shape biopsychosocial treatment plans and lead your patients to stability & wellbeing.

•Ability to concurrently document patient visits in an EMR

• will be an important skill to achieve the mild 50% productivity goals present at this program.

TEAM:

The onsite team involves wrap around staffing including addiction therapists, case managers and nurses to maximize successful treatment and a safe workplace. Off-site physician supervisors & NP leadership support team are locally renowned.

LOCATION

All work is in-person, predominantly based at the central San Diego clinic at the present time.

REQUIREMENTS

Unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner License and Furnishing number required prior to applying. 24 month full-time equivalent period of paid PMHNP care to an SMI population required, 5 years experience preferred. Significant experience managing refractory and unstable severely mentally ill clients required eg some patients who require dual antipsychotics or depot medications. No family nurse practitioners or Physician Assistants (PA).

SCHEDULE

Currently hiring for 3-5 day a day a week in-person roles. 60 minute intakes and 30 minutes follow up visits. 50-60 minutes daily of protected time for charting and catch-up. 8 hour days.

COMPENSATION

Based on a $210,000 - $220,000 / year salary + up to $20,000 productivity bonus + 5.2 weeks of PTO, prorated for part time roles. Full time providers (4 -5 days a week) enjoy excellent benefits which include 100% paid health, life, vision, disability insurances & License renewal reimbursement. Both full & part time providers enjoy a 4% matching 401K retirement program, $800 annual CME funds, prorated for part time roles. This role is Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible.
