The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The FNP or PA will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and develop appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe appropraite medications, perform diagnostic evaluations, and provide patient education on health management. Manage acute pain, chronic conditions, and coordinate care for patients in an outpatient clinical setting. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and patient management. Perform procedures such as suturing, and administration of injections as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care including case management. Stay updated on best practices in family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. Provide telehealth services to enhance access to care for patients unable to visit in person. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experiences: Strong background in primary care. Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding. Previous roles should include medical office experience or hospital experience that demonstrates strong patient care skills.
