Job Description
Job Summary Graybill Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, team-based environment with the support of an established multi-specialty medical group that has been serving North San Diego County for more than 90 years. At Graybill, our providers focus on delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff committed to clinical excellence. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, patient-centered, and dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient care while helping improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an outpatient setting Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, review of medical histories, and evaluation of vital signs Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and medical imaging Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies Provide preventive care, health education, and disease management counseling Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring HIPAA compliance Utilize appropriate ICD-10, ICD-9, and CPT coding practices for clinical documentation and billing support Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Current California PA or NP license in good standing DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to employment Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care Previous outpatient clinical experience Experience with electronic medical record systems, including NextGen, Cerner, or similar platforms Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and clinical documentation standards Experience caring for diverse patient populations Benefits Comprehensive medical benefits Employer-paid dental and vision coverage Paid time off and holidays CME allowance Malpractice coverage Retirement plan with employer contributions Collaborative and supportive work environment At Graybill Medical Group, our mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the communities we serve.
