Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to provide high-quality care for a diverse patient population. You will work closely with our cardiologist, assisting with patient evaluations, diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse practitioner to grow professionally in a supportive, collaborative environment.Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and patient histories. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, echocardiograms, stress tests). Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions. Prescribe medications and therapies according to best practices. Educate patients and their families about heart health, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress. Document patient information accurately in the medical record.Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license (NP) in California. Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred. Previous experience in cardiology or related field highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions and treatments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
