Women's Health Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Also known as: Women's Health PA, Women's Health NP, WHNP, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care Provider, Advanced Practice Provider 1. Position Overview Seeking a Full-time Women's Health Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and outpatient women's health care to diverse and underserved patient populations.Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00PM Call:
No nights or weekendsPatient Load:
Approximately 20-24 patients per dayTravel:
Approximately 10% local travel between facilities may be required. 3. Key Responsibilities Provide quality primary and women's health care. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and examinations. Diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide preventive care and patient education. Document patient care accurately in the EMR. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Provide culturally sensitive and patient-centered care. Work independently while maintaining effective team collaboration. 4. Requirements Active California PA or NP license, as applicable. Current national certification as a PA or NP. Minimum 1 year of relevant NP experience for NP candidates. Women's health or primary care experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation for occasional facility travel. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; must be able to conduct patient assessments in Spanish without an interpreter if required. 5. Education Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Master's degree required. 6. Certifications Active California PA or NP license. National Provider Identifier (NPI). Active DEA license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Appropriate health-plan credentials/approvals. Valid state identification. 7. Preferred Qualifications Women's health or outpatient primary care experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills. EMR experience. Excellent bedside manner and communication skills. Experience serving underserved or uninsured populations. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed. 8.
