What You Will Do As an FNP or PA at Tri-State, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered primary care within your education, license, clinical privileges, and professional scope of practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient evaluations Obtain and review medical histories, symptoms, medications, and clinical findings Conduct physical examinations and health assessments Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, high cholesterol, and heart disease Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic services Prescribe and manage medications within your authorized scope of practice Provide preventive screenings, immunizations, health education, and wellness counseling Perform approved outpatient procedures within your training and clinical privileges Educate patients about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and lifestyle changes Help patients understand their health in clear, respectful, and easy-to-understand language Identify patients who require specialty care and coordinate appropriate referrals Follow up on test results, referrals, hospital visits, and changes in patients' conditions Recognize urgent medical concerns and respond appropriately Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic medical records Follow clinical guidelines, HIPAA requirements, patient-safety standards, and applicable healthcare regulations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, administrative staff, specialists, and community resources Participate in quality-improvement, population-health, and patient-safety initiatives Support Tri-State's commitment to improving healthcare access and patient outcomes Participate in clinical meetings, training, and professional-development activities as required What Success Looks Like A successful FNP or PA at
