Position Overview:
Adult Nurse PractitionerSpecialty:
- Adult Nurse Practitioner exclusively
Coverage Dates:
- Immediate start for 3 months with potential for extension
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient clinic focused on adult patients
Responsibilities:
- Management of adult patients with conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and routine care for geriatric patients
Call Schedule:
- No on-call duties; work hours are from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, full-time, with rotating weekend shifts (every other weekend) and weekday off days
Patient Volume:
- Anticipated patient load of approximately 20-24 patients per day
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
System:
- EPIC
Required Certifications:
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Credentialing Timeline:
- Approximately 12 weeks from submission of application
Licensure:
- Active California nursing license required
