Job Description
High Desert Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Full-time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Lancaster, CA .We are seeking providers who practice medicine with excellent patient care and customer service. We focus on making sure our providers have a sufficient amount of time to address the patient's needs in a friendly environment. High Desert Medical Group has been providing excellent medical care for 40 years and is very well respected in the community. We participate in many community events to support and improve overall health, social well-being and also educate and empower citizens to take charge of their health. Schedule:
12- hour shifts per week Monday- Sunday 8a-9p and every other weekend rotation Nurse, medical assistant and front office staff support team Collect subjective data (obtain history). Collect objective data (perform a physical exam). Develop an assessment (diagnosis). Develop and implement a management plan. Facilitate the referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities, agencies and resources within the community. Order pharmacologic interventions. Develop and implement an educational plan. Plan for appropriate follow-up care. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Must be able to see all ages. Must have experience with typical in-office procedures: laceration repair, toenail removal, FB removal, pre-op's, etc. Active CA Medical License Current Medicare Provider Number Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date CA Driver's license active and in good standing Fluent or proficient Medical Spanish is a plus but not required Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Must have great communication skills and bedside mannerSimilar remote jobs
