High Desert Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Full-time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Lancaster, CA .We are seeking providers who practice medicine with excellent patient care and customer service. We focus on making sure our providers have a sufficient amount of time to address the patient's needs in a friendly environment. Schedule:

12- hour shifts per week Monday- Sunday 8a-9p and every other weekend rotation Nurse, medical assistant and front office staff support team Collect subjective data (obtain history). Collect objective data (perform a physical exam). Develop an assessment (diagnosis). Develop and implement a management plan. Facilitate the referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities, agencies and resources within the community. Order pharmacologic interventions. Develop and implement an educational plan. Plan for appropriate follow-up care. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Must have experience with typical in-office procedures: laceration repair, toenail removal, FB removal, pre-op's, etc. Active CA Medical License Current Medicare Provider Number Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date CA Driver's license active and in good standing Fluent or proficient Medical Spanish is a plus but not required Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Must have great communication skills and bedside manner
