Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) who specializes in women s health to join our OB/GYN team. This role involves a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology (50/50) and includes working closely with our in-house physicians, including support for high-risk pregnancies.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive well-woman exams Manage and treat various aspects of women s health, including contraceptive counseling and menopause management Perform EMBs, Colposcopies, and IUD insertions/removals Provide prenatal and postpartum care, including high-risk OB management Collaborate closely with on-site MDs who are always available for consultation Maintain accurate and timely documentation in
EMR Requirements:
Strong comfort level with high-risk pregnancies and women's health procedures Ability to perform EMBs, Colposcopies, and IUD procedures Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California Certified Nurse Midwife license (preferred but not required) Spanish-speaking (preferred) Willingness to travel to satellite offices (optional, with higher compensation) Must be able to commute to or relocate to Long Beach, CA prior to starting
