Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care services/primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and conditions
• Prescribe and administer medications in accordance with state regulations
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies
• Provide pain management interventions and treatments
• Administer vaccinations and immunizations
• Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
• Provide education and counseling to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in CA
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
• Experience in acute care settings
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret laboratory results and imaging studies
• Familiarity with pain management strategies and interventions
• Ability to provide catheter care and perform minor surgical procedures
• Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols
