Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Monterey, CA Overview:

Our urgent care and occupational medicine clinic in Monterey is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide outpatient care across a wide range of urgent, orthopedic, and occupational health needs. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday Friday schedule with strong compensation and relocation support.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat urgent care and occupational medicine patients Manage eye injuries, orthopedic injuries, and minor acute conditions Perform suturing, joint injections, and minor procedures Provide treatment for sick visits and non-emergent injuries Conduct occupational health evaluations, including DOT-related services Deliver patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in an outpatient setting Document patient encounters accurately in medical records

Qualifications:

Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in California 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, or occupational medicine preferred Willingness to obtain DOT certification Strong ability to work independently
