Job Description

Allied Pain & Spine Institute (Allied) is currently seeking certified Physician Assistant(s) or Nurse Practitioner(s) to join our esteemed, growing, and multi-disciplinary Pain and Injury Management Group, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The selected Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for evaluating, charting, and monitoring stable patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, occupational/MVA injuries, spinal pain, and orthopedic and neurologic issues. Treatment approaches may involve coordinated and targeted in-house therapy services, medication optimization, and advanced interventional procedures guided by ultrasound. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and healthcare needs.
  • Guide patients and families on medical processes, condition management, medication regimens, and potential side effects or interactions.
  • Perform interventional procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections in various areas, trigger point injections, Botox injections for migraines, and more.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and ancillary providers to address acute and chronic patient needs effectively.
  • Educate patients and provide personalized care plans.
  • Adhere to the company's vision, values, standard of excellence, and code of ethics.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited school
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal)
  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ), compassionate, and empathetic
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and train others over time
  • Familiarity and efficiency with EMR documentation
  • Licensure in the State of California
  • Knowledge of the California Worker's Compensation system is considered a plus.
Strong mentorship available/provided by physician attendings. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with no call responsibilities, weekends, or hospital rounds.
