Job Overview California Contour Clinic is seeking a confident, personable, and highly patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA)/ Nurse Practicitioner (NP) to join our growing wellness team in Newport Beach. This position will have a strong focus on our men's health and hormone optimization services , including testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), hormone management, IV therapy, peptide therapy, injectable wellness treatments, and medical weight management. We are looking for someone who brings more than strong clinical skills. Exceptional communication, professionalism, confidence, and bedside manner are essential to this role. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing sensitive health concerns, building rapport with patients, clearly explaining treatment options, and creating an experience that makes patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. Our clinic specializes in hormone optimization, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, IV and injectable wellness treatments, regenerative medicine, aesthetics, and advanced wellness services. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is particularly interested in TRT, men's health, hormone optimization, functional wellness, and preventative medicine and wants to grow their knowledge and skill set in these areas. Responsibilities Support and provide care for patients undergoing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and hormone optimization , with a significant portion of the role focused on our men's health patient population. Review patient symptoms, medical history, laboratory results, and treatment progress within the scope of licensure and clinic protocols. Provide clear, confident patient education regarding TRT/HRT, hormone optimization, treatment expectations, laboratory monitoring, injections, and ongoing care. Develop strong patient relationships and create a comfortable, professional environment for discussing sensitive men's health and hormone-related concerns. Administer and/or assist with IV therapy, IM/SQ injections, peptide therapy, hormone therapy, and wellness treatments as permitted by scope of practice. Initiate and manage IV infusions and monitor patients throughout treatment. Perform blood draws and assist with laboratory processing, review, and documentation as applicable. Educate patients on peptide protocols, wellness therapies, medical weight management, and other clinic services. Conduct patient consultations and communicate treatment recommendations in alignment with provider and clinic protocols. Confidently explain treatment options, programs, memberships, and packages to appropriate patients. Obtain and document vital signs, relevant medical history, treatment response, and patient concerns. Accurately document all encounters and treatments in the electronic medical record (EMR). Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns or abnormal findings appropriately. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and compliant clinical environment. Collaborate closely with providers, medical assistants, and front-office staff to maintain efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience. Cross-train in additional clinic services and emerging wellness treatments as appropriate. Assist with general clinic operations as needed. Confident, polished, professional, and personable An excellent communicator who can explain medical information in an approachable and easy-to-understand way Able to quickly build rapport and make patients feel comfortable discussing personal or sensitive health concerns Comfortable working extensively with a men's health/TRT patient population Genuinely interested in testosterone therapy, hormone optimization, peptides, IV therapy, and preventative wellness Knowledgeable and clinically curious, with a desire to continue learning Comfortable speaking with patients about treatment recommendations and appropriate clinic services Proactive, dependable, organized, and able to take ownership of patient care Comfortable working in a fast-paced, premium medical wellness environment Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed to create an excellent patient experience Requirements Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA)/ Nurse Practitioner (NP) license Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills Excellent bedside manner and ability to establish patient trust and rapport Experience with TRT, HRT, men's health, functional/integrative medicine, IV therapy, or wellness medicine strongly preferred IV insertion and infusion experience strongly preferred Injection experience (IM/SQ medications, peptides, wellness injections, etc.) preferred Blood draw/phlebotomy experience preferred Knowledge of hormone-related laboratory testing and interpretation is a plus Experience with medical weight management or GLP-1 therapies is a plus Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent attention to detail and patient safety Why Join California Contour Clinic?
